Privacy policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
Fun School Gear (funschoolgear.com) is operated by FridayNite Design LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Who this site is for
Our store is meant for parents, guardians and teens 13 and older to shop from. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to place your order or sign up for emails. If we learn we've collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Parents can contact us at info@funschoolgear.com to ask about or delete their child's information.
What we collect
- Order information: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (optional), and what you bought. Payment card details are processed by Shopify and our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email signup: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone (optional) and message.
- Device and browsing information: collected automatically by cookies and similar technologies, like your browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and how you got to our site.
How we use it
- To process, print, ship and support your order
- To answer your questions
- To send marketing emails, only if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how people use our site and improve it
- To show our ads to people who may be interested, and measure how well they work (see "Advertising and analytics")
- To prevent fraud and meet legal requirements
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with companies that help us run the store:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments (Shopify's privacy policy)
- Our print-on-demand partner (currently Printify), which prints and ships your order and receives your name and shipping address
- Shopify Email, which sends our newsletter and marketing emails (part of Shopify; see Shopify's privacy policy)
- Advertising and analytics partners: Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, as described below
- Authorities, if required by law
Advertising and analytics
We use, or may use, tools from Google (including Google Analytics), Meta and TikTok. They use cookies and pixels to measure site traffic and to show our ads to people on their platforms. Under some US state laws, this kind of ad targeting may count as "sharing" or "selling" personal information. You can opt out (see "Your choices"). We don't intentionally target ads to children under 13.
Your choices
- Cookies: use our cookie banner, when shown, or your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
- Opt out of targeted ads: use the "Your privacy choices" link on our site, if shown, or visit optout.aboutads.info.
- Emails: click "unsubscribe" in any email.
- Google Analytics: opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so we don't currently change our practices when we receive one. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opting out of targeted ads where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it, or opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@funschoolgear.com. We'll verify your request, respond within the time required by law, and won't treat you differently for using these rights.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed for business, tax and legal reasons. We keep email signup data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and Shopify protects payment data to industry standards. No method of sending data over the internet is 100% secure.
Where we operate
Fun School Gear is based in New Jersey, USA, and currently ships only to addresses in the United States. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
